Withinfield School tackle litter with Neighbourhood Community Wardens.

On Wednesday 22nd May, Neighbourhood Community Warden Jonny Cato alongside PCSO Liz Calkeld and PCSO Wendy Burke assisted Withinfields Primary School Children in Southowram, in a litter pick.

They concentrated on the road and area around the school, 8 large bags of litter were collected in under an hour, in the lovely sunshine. The children enjoyed the activity and were proud of their efforts and commented how much better it looked. Jonny gave a talk on the importance of not dropping litter and the children said they would pass on the message to friends and family. Another date to follow soon.
