Join Calderdale Play Service and Eureka! as we celebrate National Playday 2017 — A day entirely dedicated to play with free extra outdoor activities.
Wednesday 2 August is National Playday – the annual celebration of children’s right to play and we have lots of activities outside for you to enjoy with your family.
Playday activities will take place in the Eureka! Park:
* climbing wall
* hat-making activity
Play activity trail from Eureka! to the newly opened Piece Hall (across the road)
Please note that although activities taking place outside are free on National Playday, normal museum admission still applies if you wish to go inside the museum.

The Halifax Agricultural Show is the largest show of its kind in the local region and offers something for everyone.
There are goats, cattle, sheep, horses, poultry, rabbits and many other animals.
Handicrafts and produce, The Lamb National, Ridgeside Lurcher and Terrier display, Bolddog Lings Freestyle Motocross, Farmers’ Market, demonstrations and more.
There is also plenty to see in the Show Jumping, Vintage vehicles and Fun Dog rings.
You do not have to be a farmer, or a grower of mammoth vegetables to enter the show.
There are classes for everyone. Go on, enter into some friendly competition and add to the fun!
You can buy tickets from local retailers, or you can pay for tickets at the gate on show day.
