Job Vacancy: Cleaner Heath Stroke Club Care Services

 Cleaner  – 3 hours per week (2 sessions at 1.5 hrs) with additional hours as necessary

£7.20 per hour

We require someone to clean the premises at Heath Stroke Club Care Services, Manor Drive by following a thorough cleaning schedule and using safe working methods to ensure premises are clean and hygienic.

Ideal candidates will need

*         A methodical and thorough approach to cleaning to a high standard

*           Working knowledge of COSHH in relation to cleaning

*           Be independently mobile with ability to use cleaning equipment including mops and hoovers

*           A good understanding of the needs of adults with a disability.

*         Good verbal and written communication skills.

Closing date 9.00 am on Monday 10th October 2016

Interviews will be held week commencing 17 October 2016

Casual Carers – hours as and when required

£7.52 per hour (£7.75 if in possession of NVQ2 or above)

We require casual Carers to assist in delivering a range of person-centred services for people with physical disabilities. You will be required to support service users with their physical, emotional, social and psychological needs as identified in individual care plans. You would also be required to drive and escort service users in company vehicles

Ideal Candidates will need:

  • Experience of caring for and supporting people with physical disabilities
  • Able to work independently and in accordance with organisation policies and procedures
  • At least two years driving experience with a full driving licence (though not essential for sessional posts)
  • A good understanding of the needs of adults with a disability.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
