Singing for the Brain –Halifax, Alzheimer’s Society

In Halifax we are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our volunteer team to support a rapidly growing, lively group of singers. No experience of singing necessary, just a willingness to join in and enjoy the music.

Singing for the Brain is musical activity that provides stimulation and enjoyment through song and social interaction for people with dementia and people supporting them. It helps to reduce isolation and music and singing are known to improve wellbeing.

If you have 3 hours to spare, twice a month on a Tuesday morning then please get in touch with us.
