 Trainee Family Mentor: 37 hours per week | Calderdale

£16,301.57 per annum, 1 year fixed term contract

We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Trainee Family Mentor committed to working with people from a wide range of backgrounds, improving their opportunities and increasing aspiration within areas of deprivation across Calderdale.

Working with the entire family unit, the ideal person must possess excellent people skills. To be suitable for this role you must be able to communicate with a diverse range of communities and individuals from across the Calderdale borough.

No experience is necessary; however, experience of working within a community setting and with people from disadvantaged groups would be an advantage.

Explore the digiPlaySpace exhibiton all the way from Canada – in Europe for the very first time. This totally interactive digital art, gaming and technology exhibition is here for a limited time only and perfect for big kids.

You’ll get a chance to use digital animation to make your own dance video, explore a virtual world, and interact with a painting made of light.

You’ll also be able to experience some science demos with their expert Enablers, including holding fire in the palm of your hand and watching water defy gravity.

Plus, there’ll be a bar in the museum for your favourite tipple and nibbles available from their café.
