Project Development Worker Volunteer and Mentoring Service
£20’799 pro rata 28 hours

An exciting opportunity to join an innovative person centred, outcome focused service, which is part of the mentoring services operated through Aspire Calderdale. You will be able to
- To Manage develop and lead this service forward increasing capacity and reach.
- To recruit, assess, train and support volunteer mentors in the service and match them with people with a lived experience of disabilities as mentees. You will also manage and support our volunteer opportunities which are building and community based.
- To maintain high standards of practice in mentoring support within the ethos of Scope behaviours and values and the principles of mentoring and volunteering.
You will have project management experience and have planned and delivered training ideally holding a training qualification. You will have an understanding of the principle of mentoring and the benefits of this in an Individual’s life. Knowledge and understanding of disability and the networks available locally. You will ideally have had training in person centred outcomes and goal planning as this is key to this service. A counselling and coaching qualification would be desirable.
