Salary circa £50k, Contributory pension, flexible contract negotiable
We are a successful, well established and highly regarded Development Trust looking to recruit a Chief Executive to head up our organisation when the current post holder retires in October. We are a regis-tered Charity and a social enterprise working with businesses, individuals and families to improve the lives of local residents, especially those who are experiencing disadvantage.
Our board and two subsidiary companies have set the bar for this post at the highest level. To be suc-cessful you will not only be able to confidently demonstrate commercial acumen and business skills, but will also have a strong passion for social justice in line with the organisation’s vision and values. Currently the income from charitable trading activities is around £5m per year and we are ambitious for further growth.
You will need to have an effective track record of achievement at a senior management level gained in a comparable multicultural organisation. An engaging communication style that transcends social and oth-er boundaries is also an essential requirement for this role.
