Community Wardens brighten up Boothtown!

Our Central Halifax wardens Jonny and Zameer have been busy in Boothtown this week. They took part in a clean-up at All Souls Cemetery along with the help of local volunteers organised by Dougalas Robertshaw from Boothtown Partnership and local PCSO Liz Calkeld from West Yorkshire Police. The area was targeted to clean up the DSCF4034graves, that was full of rubbish. The team litter picked the grave yard and collected 20 bags full of rubbish, as well bulky waste that had been fly tipped including sofas chair and mattresses. The team will be back there soon for a second phase of clean up and will continue to patrol the area to make sure it stays clean and tidy. You can report flytipping online at or call customer first on 01422 288001.
