From October to December 2012, make sure you recycle your food waste to be in with a chance of winning a fantastic prize. There are 60 great prizes up for grabs including:

• 30 sets of family tickets to this year’s spectacular pantomime!
• 15 luxury hampers
• 15 family or individual swim vouchers

Simply place your food caddy out by 7 am on collection day and we’ll pick 20 households at random to win the prizes each month. If you’re one of the winners, you’ll be notified by letter with instructions on how to claim your prize.

What can I put in my caddy?

You can place any raw or cooked food into your caddy.

Yes please . . .

• Meat and fish – raw and cooked including bones;
• All dairy products such as eggs and cheese;
• Raw and cooked vegetables and fruit;
• Bread, cakes and pastries;
• Rice, pasta and beans;
• Uneaten food from your plates and dishes;
• Tea and coffee grounds.

No thanks . . .

• Packaging of any sort
• Plastic bags
• Liquids
• Oil or liquid fat
• Tins
• Cans
• Glass.
