Caklderdale Council’s small grants scheme has awarded the popular Spring Hall Bowling Club with a grant of £3000. Neighbourhood officer, Janice Dawson from Halifax Central Initiative has been working with the group, who have been suffering from anti social behaviour resulting in damage to the pitch and club house.

Janice helped the group complete the funding form along with letter of support from the ASB team, Safer Greener Cleaner team and neighbourhood Police team. The money will be used to erect railings around the pavilion. Work has commenced this week to secure the site.
