We have just finished a community cookbook, celebrating local food culture across the borough.

All of the recipes come from local people, from Park, Elland, Todmorden, Brighouse, Ovenden and Mixenden.

We also celebrate the local shopkeepers + market traders who sell fresh fruit + veg in Calderdale and remain a part of local communities – butchers, bakers, fishmongers and greengrocers. This includes celebrating the wonderful international food stores along Queens Rd …

We also touch on the often difficult relationship some local people have with food / diet etc.
