This is a Pilot Project from INC360 to tackle youth loneliness and promote positive mental health. They are looking for any young people who might like to get involved for free.
The pilot will be taking place throughout Spring, depending on COVID restrictions and will be run by INC360’s social enterprise.
There will be workshops for children and young people which combine discussions around mental health, a drama based activity and a 360-degree video experience. The video will be watched on a VR headset and is aimed at promoting community.
The project runs in 2 phases and you can get in both or just the one of them.
Phase 1
- Virtual interviews with parents, teachers, youth workers and child health care workers
- Virtual focus groups with young people aged 8-13 years who use any youth related support service
Phase 2
- Workshops for children and young people aged 8-13 years who use any youth related service
INC360 would like to gain feedback on their service idea and understand where the company fits in with current opportunities available to children facing situations of loneliness, whether that be due to ill health, foster care or social anxieties, to name just a few.
