Carlton Church is based in the heart of Halifax on Carlton Terrace, HX1 2AD ( behind the main Lloyds HBOS building)
They are part of four United Reformed Churches, the building dates back to 1837 and is a Grade 2 listed building. It was refurbished in the late 1990’s. Many non-church organisations and groups make use of the building, and is available to hire to the public during the day or evening. The building has disabled access and on street parking is available using the parking meters.
There Sunday morning service starts at 9.45am and is open to anyone and everyone. There is also a junior church for children that runs during the Sunday worship. For young people a Girl’s Brigade group meets on Monday evenings for girls aged 5 years and above and includes various activities, games and crafts. For more information telephone 01422 362 648.
