Volunteers Needed Now for Halifax Boys Brigade

photos to uploadThe Halifax Boys’ Brigade is celebrating an increase in membership since September 2012! There has been a great uptake in The Boys’ Brigade thanks to the Ten Percent in twenty twelve Campaign!
The Boys’ Brigade will be celebrating 130 years since the Founding of the Boys’ Brigade by William A Smith in Glasgow in 1883. An organisation with many years under its belt has been put to the test having survived 2 World Wars, watched the men land on the moon and has seen the birth of the Internet!
The Boys’ Brigade has proved how versatile it can be and it has adapted over the last 130 years to keep up to date with the needs of Children and Young People!
What the Halifax Boys’ Brigade needs now is for some fresh new Volunteers to come and help keep the Brigade going.
Robert Batty says ‘There are some big BB Companies out there with lots and lots of lads! We need to be able to give those lads the best Adventure of their Lives! To help make sure we do this we need more people to come and get involved! It’s as simple as that!’
Rob went on to say ‘If you don’t mind working with Children and Young People and you understand the benefits of being connected to an Organisation, and how important that is for these Young People then you are who we are looking for!’
