Park PACT (Police and Communities Together)

PACT meetings are held every 6 weeks for you to come and speak to your local neighbourhood police team about the area you live in and set their local policing priorities.

Your next week meeting is on: Wednesday 13 February 2013. Starts 7.00pm at Asda Community Room, Thrum Hall Lane, Halifax

Your current local priorities for Park are:

To deal with low level drug use and anti-social behaviour in and around Stansfield Close. This priority was reviewed at the PACT meeting on 2/1/13. Incidents have continued therefore the priority will remain.

Response/Action

Some of the actions planned for the next six weeks:-

• targeted patrols by local officers focusing on specific times
• stop and search powers utilised where appropriate
• enforcement against those found in illegal possession of controlled drugs
• Referrals to partner agencies to divert activity away from residential area
