The Industrial Museum in Halifax will be open to the public on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 December from 10am to 4pm (last entry 3.30). This is being held in conjunction with Calderdale Museums Service and the volunteers of Calderdale Industrial Museum Association. Three floors of the museum are open, including steam engines, big (really big) machine tools, weaving looms, circular knitting machines, and not forgetting the fabulous rainbow loom and the toffee wrapping machine. Entry is free, but donations will be very welcome. Public contact details are: cimacomms@gmail.com or to view click here. Industrial Museum, Central Works, Square Road, Halifax, HX1 1QG
