Park and Warley Project Weekly Digest 11.1.22

Hello!  With so much going on we couldn’t wait for our next newsletter so here is a quick update of some of the latest opportunities in Park and Warley that you might be interested in.

⚽ 🥕 🎨 Healthy Holidays Calderdale February 2022

During the school holidays, children and young people who are on free school meals can access free holiday club places through our Healthy Holidays Calderdale programme.

The Government’s Holiday Activity & Food Programme does not provide funding for half terms. However, Calderdale Council and Community Foundation for Calderdale have joined forces to provide holiday schemes for the forthcoming February half term. We know parents and children in the borough enjoyed and felt supported by the Winter holiday clubs. The February half term programme is on a smaller scale and is funded by Calderdale’s Never Hungry Again campaign.

How Are Children with Additional Needs included? All the programme partners are committed to making their programme accessible for a wide range of children. Providing the programme with good information about your child and their needs will enable them to ensure that your child is fully included and can enjoy the opportunities that are offered.
