Halifax Town centre’s Oxfam charity shop is currently looking for volunteers to help run the shop from Monday to Saturday 9am to 4:30pm.

There is need for a range of roles and some more specialist roles, from shop floor, till operation, to stock management. Come help us run the shop, be part of a fantastic team and earn some hands on work experience while you’re at it!

We like to give volunteers an opportunity to try a range of areas before they find something that suits them. You might become a Shop Volunteer, Bookshop Volunteer or Music Shop Volunteer. Or, you might find yourself in a more specific role such as a Social Media Volunteer, an Admin/Finance Support Volunteer, or even a Lead Volunteer.

Whatever your skills or interests, there’s something for everyone…

Specific Shop Requirements: Right now, the shop is looking for shop volunteers over the age of 18 and for people who’d like to volunteer with its online shop as a listing specialist.
