Counselling Practitioners Bradford Survive & Thrive
(hours negotiable: a minimum of 12 up to a maximum of 20, funded until 31st March 2022)
Scale points 23-25, £27,741- £29,577 pro rata.
As a new consortium, Staying Put, WomenCentre & Family Action are delivering a One Front Door model; ensuring families who have experienced domestic abuse & sexual violence receive the right support at the right time, to make them safe, sooner, and help promote recovery and healing.
We are looking to recruit experienced counsellors to join our team. To apply you will need to have:
- A minimum of two years post qualification experience of offering individual counselling to people who have been exposed to domestic abuse and/or sexual violence
- and/or over two years of domestic abuse and or sexual violence support experience
- A sound knowledge of relevant support services.
We are seeking to recruit at least one counsellor with community language skills relevant to Bradford district.
Post holders will be based in the Bradford District as part of the Survive and Thrive Service but will be employed by WomenCentre Ltd. and will work in a range of outreach venues across Bradford.
Post holders will need to be within driving distance of Bradford City centre.
(Post holders will be home based whilst current Covid restrictions are in place; there is an expectation that the service will offer face to face sessions to as restrictions allow).
