VSI Alliance News & Events

New Engagement Champions Training dates for 2021

Engagement Champions are individuals working in the voluntary and community sector who are trained to help deliver engagement and consultation activities on behalf of NHS Calderdale Calderdale Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG).

Engagement Champions have strong links to their community and enjoy listening and talking to local people.  It is important to also have an interest in health and care services.

VAC, in partnership with NHS CCG, offers free training for local people to become Engagement Champions and help local communities to have their say about health and care services.

The next Engagement Champions training will begin in 2021:
Session 1: Tuesday 26th January 2021
Session 2: Tuesday 2nd January 2021
Session 3: Tuesday 9th February 2021
Session 4: Tuesday 23rd March 2021.

All sessions are held online through Zoom and last from 10am – 12 noon.  Attendees need to be able to commit to attending all 4 sessions and applications can be made via engagement@cvac.org.uk.
