Northern Broadsides are looking to develop our Board so it can support and inspire the Executive Team and increase the company’s social impact and resilience. We are keen to meet dynamic and passionate individuals who share the belief that the arts can change people’s lives and shape the places where we live. Having seen the company through an exciting period of change and appointing the new leadership in March 2019, Rachel Harris has decided that, after 9 years as Chair, now is the right time to step down. This means we are also looking to appoint a new Chair as well as several new Board members who can bring fresh perspectives on how we navigate the future and the role we can play in the country’s recovery.
We welcome applications from groups currently under-represented, particularly people of South Asian Heritage or those with a disability, and for the first time we welcome applications from candidates who can only attend meetings remotely.
