Business request for support – £10k and £25k funding online forms
Recent government announcements have confirmed a package of measures to provide support for businesses registered for business rates to minimise the impact of COVID 19. One of these measures provides for two grants.
- Small Business and Rural Relief – grant funding of £10k to be made available to all hereditaments which on 11 March 2020 were eligible for Small Business or Rural Rate Relief.
- Retail, Hospitality and Leisure – grant funding of £25k to support hereditaments, which at 11 March 2020 were used for Retail, Hospitality and Leisure businesses with a rateable value between £15,001 and £51,000.
Please note that Businesses are only eligible for either the £10k or £25k grant.
It is anticipated that the specific guidance for local authorities on the scheme will continue to be provided and funding is also expected to be made available by government in April 2020. For guidance in relation to the grant, visit: Coronavirus (COVID-19): guidance on business support grant funding (GOV.UK).
In order to allow a payment to be made to your business when the government funding is in place, and in accordance with the guidance issued by government in relation to the Coronavirus, all sections of the form must be completed with the relevant information.
