Knife Crime Talk at Beech Hill Primary School

Local PCSOs Alec Szoradi and Liz Calkeld assisted by community wardens Jonny Cato and Zameer Akthar presented a knife crime talk to 150 students and staff members during a school assembly at Beech Hill primary school on Monday 20th January. Knife crime

The presentation included a video show followed by a slide show; the shows told the story of victims of knife crime, including some from our own town of Halifax. After the presentation there was a question and answer session with the children and the staff.

These events are an essential tool in educating young people on the dangers of carrying a knife.
