Yorkshire Day at The Piece Hall

Wednesday <!–

–>1st August 2018

Noon – 6pm

Celebrate one year since The Piece Hall reopened this Yorkshire Day. The courtyard will be transformed into a community street party with an afternoon of anniversary celebrations.

There will be bunting and long communal tables with a selection of party pop up food and drink traders offering tea, cakes, toasties and bubbles. Live music from the world-famous Rajasthan Heritage Brass Band and our favourite vintage swing band Jump Jive and Wail.

10.30am – 3pm, £3 (drop-in)
Join us in the courtyard for fun family activities including face painting, a Giant Yorkshire Rose artwork, a Georgian photobooth and crafts at the Activity Cart along with an array of traditional games to play.

NATIONAL PLAYDAY AT Eureka! The National Children’s Museum
Yorkshire Day is also National Playday this year – an annual celebration of children’s right to play – and our friends at Eureka! have a day entirely dedicated to play with lots of activities outside for you to enjoy with your family, run by Calderdale Play Development Service and the Eureka! team
