The holy month of Ramadan has begun. For Muslims this includes fasting, introspection and prayer. Fasting is one of the five fundamental princip
les of Islam. Each day during Ramadan, Muslims do not eat or drink from sunrise to sunset, they break their daily fasts by sharing meals with family and friends. The end of Ramadan is celebrated with a three-day festival known as Eid al-Fitr .
We send our support and well wishes to our Muslim friends, neighbours, colleagues and families during this month.
