Public meeting this Friday for information on the new Flood RE Insurance Scheme

A public meeting for flood-hit residents will take place this Friday 1st July flood_reand will be hosted by Halifax MP Holly Lynch. The meeting will focus on the Flood RE Insurance Scheme which is a  Government-backed scheme, designed to reduce home insurance premiums for more than 350,000 homes in flood risk areas.
The meeting will run from  6pm until 7pm at Christ Church, Sowerby Bridge.  Brendan McCafferty, CEO of Flood Re will give a presentation and residents will have the opportunity to ask questions about the scheme.
