The fourth Ramfest will be held at Southowram Cricket Club, Ashday Lane, on Sunday 7 July with a number of returning bands taking to the stage – as well as a couple of newcomers.
This year the festival will be raising funds for Help for Heroes and the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
Returning bands this year include My Brother Jake and three-piece outfit The McCarrons, supporters of the festival since the start and popular with audiences.While the Cats Away, fronted by Chris McParland and Lucy Littley, have been present in various forms and under several names and Oblivion, who recently won a Battle of the Bands competition in Harrogate, will also take to the stage.
New bands for this year are six-man band Rox Off, a popular fixture on the rock and roll scene in Halifax, Fork Handles, a four-piece rock and indie covers band, and Tempus.
Ramfest 4 runs from 12.30pm to 7pm and admission is £5 with accompanied children free.
