Window alarms available to Boothtown residents…

Police are urging people in Boothtown to take up an offer to have window alarms fitted for free.Officers from Halifax Central neighbourhood policing team have teamed up with partners for the scheme after a spate of burglaries in the area.The alarms have been paid for by The Boothtown Partnership and are available from the Boothtown Community Shop on Boothtown Road. Anyone living in Boothtown who is concerned about the safety of their windows and would like an alarm can attend the community shop during normal office hours. (9.30am to 4.30pm)
