Did you know Halifax has held a Purple Flag Award for two years?

To win Purple Flag status towns and cities must be welcoming to everyone, offer safe ways for visitors to travel home, provide a good mix of venues and attractions and be appealing, not just at night but during the day too. Halifax is one 25 towns in the country to hold the award, for offering a safe, vibrant and welcoming night on the tiles. The award also recognise’s the large private sector investment in Halifax, reflecting the confidence investors have in an economically prosperous town.
