Speed Watch Deployment

Community Wardens Zameer Akhtar and Jonny Cato from Halifax Central Initiative, took part in a speed check operation in Sowerby Bridge this week after concerns were raised by local residents about the speed of vehicles driving through the Pye Nest area. The Big Mosque Street Clean

Following on from the successful clean up that took place on Saturday 13 July the Madni Youth Movement are launching a monthly clean up which will take place on the last Saturday of each month.

Growing Together Action Group are joining up with Jamia Madni Masjid to do a community clean up on Saturday morning on 12 July.  Meet up at the Mosque on Gibbet Street or outside The Outback on Lightowler Road at 10.30am.
