Your next round of Halifax Central Ward Forum & PACT meetings are taking place in December:
Ward Forums are for anyone living or working in Calderdale, to get involved in what happens in their local area and discuss what is important to you. By working together we can talk about local issues and plan for the future. The meetings are a great place to meet your local councillors, Calderdale Council staff, police and other services we work with. The evenings start with refreshments and a chance to network and chat informally.
The Equality Forum for Calderdale aims to provide an opportunity for the views and needs of different communities of interest to be fed into the policy and service planning processes of statutory organisations within the district.
The Equality Forum for Calderdale will hold its annual public meeting on Wednesday 4th October. The meeting will take place at the Kings Centre, Park Road, Halifax, HX1 2TS from 5.30pm. We are pleased to announce that Julie Killey, Service Manager for Commissioning & Partnership (Adult & Children’s Service) will be attending.
All members of the public are welcome to attend as it will provide you the opportunity to ask direct questions on issues that may be of concern to you. It is important that all members of the community representing different groups attend to ensure that we are listening and taking into consideration issues that affect you in terms of Commissioning & Partnership in Calderdale and we can then try and address some of these concerns.
