Litter picking is a really worthwhile activity and a great way to spend a morning, getting out into beautiful green spaces, learning the history and meeting other lovely and likeminded people.

We are very fortunate to have the emergency services come and help us litter pick the beautiful and historic Carriage Drive. They will also be discussing the dangers of litter from causing fires to injury to people and wildlife. We’d love your help as this is a particularly littered spot but is so beautiful and steeped in history. It deserves to be restored to its natural state. 

We provide all the equipment but you may want to bring some gardening or work type gloves and wear long sleeves/legs and sturdy footwear.
