A Referendum relating to the Park Ward Neighbourhood Plan will be held on Thursday 9 February 2023.

The question which will be asked in the Referendum is ‘Do you want Calderdale Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Park Ward to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?’

The Park ward Neighbourhood Plansets out a vision for the future of Park and how we hope this can be achieved over the coming years.

The Park Ward Neighbourhood Plan includes policies on

• Tackling Dereliction
• New and Improved Housing
• Design of New Development
• Protecting and Improving Open Space
• Revitalising Retail Centres
• Protecting the Area’s Heritage
• Getting Around
