Children’s Centre Early Years Delivery Manager
Working across Upper & Central Calderdale Children’s Centre Nurseries
22.5 hours per week initially, (may increase to 37.5 hours in the future)
£36,000.00 per annum (actual pro-rata £21,600.00)

Halifax Opportunities Trust are now looking for passionate and enthusiastic individual to join the Area Management Team with responsibility for four nurseries across the organisation. To provide high quality, safe, secure and stimulating environments for children aged between 0 – 5 years, ensuring the nurseries achieve a Good /Outstanding judgement at Ofsted inspection.
You will need:
➢ A passion for ensuring all children reach their full potential.
➢ At least 5 years’ experience of managing an early years nursery.
➢ An early years qualification at Degree Level with EYPS or EYT.
➢ Experience of business planning and budget management with a sound understanding of early years funding and restricted funds.
➢ Through understanding and working knowledge of the current EYFS and the ability to ensure nursery teams are meeting the statutory framework.
➢ Thorough understanding and working knowledge of safeguarding legislation within an early years nursery
➢ Excellent understanding and experience of leading Ofsted inspections.
➢ Experience of excellent partnership working with parents/carers and professionals
