200 Years of Holdsworth’s – Moquette Manufacturers to the World
This new exhibition explores the history of moquette manufacture by Holdsworth’s at Shaw Lodge Mills, Halifax.
This thick velvety fabrics has been supplied for transport upholstery since the first railway carriages were upholstered in the 1830s.
We hope you enjoy it!
Open every Saturday from 10am to 4pm. Last entry at 3pm.
We are also open on Thursdays in the school holidays.
Entry to the exhibition is included in the admission charge to the museum.
We also offer an Annual Pass for £12 per adult that gives unlimited admission to the museum for 12 months.
