Have Your Say

Have your say on proposals for improved walking and cycling around the A629 between Halifax and Huddersfield.

Calderdale Council, Kirklees Council and the West Yorkshire Combined Authority have developed a series of improvements along the A629 route from Halifax to Huddersfield.

The aim of these proposals is to provide enhanced and safer accessibility to Halifax and Huddersfield by improving walking, wheeling, cycling and bus travel along the route.

The A629 phase 4 walking and cycling Halifax – Huddersfield project is in development.

We would like to hear your thoughts on proposals for enhanced and safer accessibility, and improved walking, wheeling, cycling and bus travel around the A629 between Halifax and Huddersfield.

A public consultation starts today and will run until Tuesday 23 November 2021.
