The award-winning International Village Market will be returning to Halifax again with traders from around the globe set up along Corn Market, Russel Street & Southgate.

Wander amongst the wonderful aromas, sights and sounds of a true International Market. As well as International street food there will be some great fresh foods on sale including olives, baklava, dried fruit and nuts. If you’re after something sweet, the French Patisserie is a must, offering the finest pastries that are perfect as a treat – after all the burgers, sausages, pancakes, ice cream and freshly baked Macaroons….

Just some of the tasty treats which will be drawing in visitors include Greek delicacy including Gyros, Souvlaki, and Greek pies, a Traditional German Schwenkgrill selling Bratwurst and Currywurst, mouth-watering French crepes and Galettes, Catalan cuisine Tapas and Paella; Pofitjes, the famous Dutch mini pancakes and even Ostrich and Kangaroo burgers so hop along and try some of the great street foods on offer.

But it’s not all about food as we have some great craft and gift stalls including some fantastic jewellery made from recycled silver cutlery; South American jewellery and knitwear, handmade amber, crystal and gemstone jewellery and of course the famous Dutch Market Garden where you can wander through a huge collection of shrubs, bulbs, beautiful plants and trees with some great garden ornaments.
