Are you passionate about giving women and families a voice?

A Maternity Voices Partnership (MVP) is a working group: a team of women and their families, commissioners and providers (midwives and doctors), and organisations who provide support to local families. The group work together to review and contribute to the development of local maternity care, and a key part of that is seeking views from local people. It is multidisciplinary in nature and works in partnership with all its members. As well as monitoring services, it is also involved in the coproduction of maternity services.

The Calderdale and Huddersfield Maternity Voices Partnership are looking for a Chair who is:
• passionate about helping to develop and improve the experience of maternity services for women and their families
• keen to engage families and seldom heard groups to inform maternity services development.
• a good communicator
• organised and able to work flexibly
• able to chair regular meetings

Hours and payment:- Between 1 and 2 days per week, remunerated at the Patient and Public Voice (PPV) rate of £150/day.
