Neighbouring wards of Park and Warley share a boundary, a high school and this year a glittering star-studded awards event.

Community groups and ward councillors across the two areas have joined together to recognise and celebrate the individuals and groups whose sterling work both strengthens and improves our communities and the lives of the people who live in them.

The Our Communities awards are all about celebrating the talent, hard work and community spirit that goes on in our neighbourhoods of Park and Warley wards.

Nominate the unsung heroes and true champions of where you live and work and give them the recognition they deserve.

How to Nominate

Nominate Online or complete and return the paper Nomination Form

Nominations must be received by Friday 28 February 2014

Rules

There is no limit to the number nominations you can make.

Nominations must be for an individual, group or organisation who live or work in or for the benefit of either Park or Warley ward

As hosts of the awards, staff from the North and East Halifax Team and Halifax Central Initiative cannot be nominated for the work they do for these organisations
