Come and celebrate the Helping Young People Project in Halifax and find out what they do…

The Helping Young People (HYP)  project (formerly called the YACL project) is an ecumenical youth work venture aiming to support and help young people who spend time in Halifax Town Centre – mainly in and around the bus station, often on their way home from school or college. The lead organisation is Calderdale Methodist Circuit – but the Management Group includes members from a whole range of church groups. A Celebration is being held on Monday  1 October at 6.30pm – 8pm in New Ebenezer Church at the junction of Pellon Lane and Broad Street. Two detached youth workers will explain what they have been doing this past year – refreshments provided. You are invited to come and hear about the HYP project and how it is helping young people and the community in Halifax. Queries ring 01422 345582.
