The St. Augustine’s Centre is looking for a caretaker.

Are you reliable, flexible and practical?
Are you organized and good at getting on with a diverse range of people?

Even better if you have been a caretaker or cleaner before and have some basic DIY and health and safety skills and knowledge?

Background

St. Augustine’s Centre on Hanson lane in Halifax has been working for over 30 years providing support, sanctuary, community and information.

There are two buildings, gardens and grounds. These need to be safe, clean and available to the many groups and individuals who use the Centre. There is a nursery, English and other classes, a regular lunch every Tuesday, an IT room, Café Wednesday and many other activities.

Hours of work: Average 10 hours per week very flexible but will mean being available early mornings, evenings and weekends.

Pay £12,145 pa   pro rata c £6.70 an hour

The post is until mid July 2013
