Breaking down barriers to volunteering

Support Assistant’s are recruited and trained to offer companionship and support to enable someone to become involved in voluntary work. You will be working with adults with a variety of support needs (including mental health, physical disabilities, learning difficulties, and sensory impairments, asylum seekers) to enable them to volunteer in the activity of their choice.

Training Course – 4 day course over 2weeks covering:
