Part-time Voluntary English Teaching

We are looking for a confident person to lead or share leading a Basic English class for a few hours a week. This class varies in size and ability on a weekly basis so the teacher has to be able to think on their feet. They do not have to be qualified but must have a good understanding of literacy and grammar.

Part-time Voluntary English Teaching Assistants

We are looking for 6^thform or college students who are able to give a few hours with a Basic English class. This opportunity will be wonderful for any person trying to improve their CV or UCAS personal statement. The person has to come with an open mind and be willing to work alongside people of different backgrounds.

Gardening

We are desperately in need of willing volunteers with or without gardening experience to help our volunteer gardner Steve. Any hours between 9am – 4pm Monday to Friday (weekends could be an option). Planting vegetables, fruit, flowers, herbs, maintaining lawned areas and general tidying all included. Free lunch on a Tuesday.
