What’s on your Doorstep? is a free event on Saturday 10 March organised by Voluntary Action Calderdale. Local Voluntary & Community Organisations will be there throughout the day so you can pop in to Halifax Central Library anytime between 11am—3pm and find out what services they offer and how they can help you. With a wide range of services available covering: Respite Care , Counselling, Family Support, Activities and Support for people with disabilities , Peer Support for Independent Living, Addiction Recovery ,Healthy Living, Day Services, Older People’s Support, Debt Advice There’ll also be the chance to try out some of the activities and services offered including massage and arts & crafts! Hearing Loop available, wheelchair accessible venue with free disabled parking at Northgate Car Park and a British Sign Language Interpreter will be available on the day.
