Calderdale Neighbours Day: Do you have a good neighbour to nominate?

This year Calderdale Neighbours’ Day is launching the Good Neighbour Awards, which will be presented at Neighbours Day 2012, 19th May at The Piece Hall, Halifax.

You can nominate an individual, a family or a group of friends who have demonstrated their neighbourliness in some way – it might be a random act of kindness, a major act of goodwill or something they do all the time.  Whatever has touched your heart.  The Good Neighbour Awards are a great way of saying ‘Thank You’.

To make a nomination you can click on the Good Neighbours link at  for details on how to nominate your Good Neighbour.

Awards will be given to Good Neighbours from around Calderdale an award for each area –

  • Halifax Central
  • Upper Calder Valley
  • Lower Calder Valley
  • North Halifax
  • Ryburn Valley

We are all good neighbours and Calderdale Neighbours Day wants to celebrate our community’s goodwill.
