Project Workers: Safespace (2 posts)

Do you have experience supporting people in mental distress? Are you compassionate and communicative? Safespace offers 1-1 emotional support through in-person, telephone, text, and email channels. The service operates daily, including weekends, and also holds outreach sessions across the borough. Join us to provide immediate and longer-term emotional health and wellbeing support.

Hours: 14 hours per week, includes weekend cover

Pay: £15 per hour (£29,250 per annum pro rata: £10,920 actual)

Duration: Fixed-term to 31st March 2025; continuation subject to funding

 Service Manager: Safespace

Hours: 30 hours per week, includes some weekend cover

Pay: £17 per hour (£33,150 per annum pro rata: £26,520 actual)

Duration: Fixed-term to 31st March 2025; continuation subject to funding

Closing Date: Wednesday 14th August 2024, 5.00pm

We are seeking an additional Service Manager to support the Safespace team. This role involves providing 1-1 emotional support and managing outreach sessions. The Service Manager will work alongside an established team, including regular and relief Project Workers, to ensure the service operates smoothly – especially during out-of-hours periods.
