Welcome to the spring/summer newsletter for 2021. What a strange spring it has been so far, I can’t remember a cooler one.  The countryside is slowly coming to life with hawthorn, blackthorn and rowan all flowering and the woodland floor is a riot of blue and white as a mix of bluebell and wild garlic carpet the ground.  If the weather is kind for the Bank Holiday, try and get out for a walk in the woods before the flowers fade and the summer tree canopy shuts out the light in our woodlands.
