This weekend’s Park Ward Heritage walk took place on a lovely sunny Saturday afternoon. Over 20 people attended the event which was lead by local historian David Glover, with support from Halifax Central Initiative staff. The route covered several sites of historical interest and David regaled the group with the tales of  2 murders which took place in the area in the last century. Sites visited on the tour included Lister Lane Cemetery, Madni Masjid, People’s Park, Crossley House and the Gibbet.
