The 2020 Halifax Long March has been cancelled. The following message appears at the official website:
“It is with a heavy heart that we have taken the decision to cancel this year’s Halifax Long March.
Given the current situation with the Covid-19 pandemic it was felt that it would not be in the best interest of our walkers, helpers or committee members to proceed with the event at this time.
We will be contacting all parties involved over the next few days to fully explain our decision and to arrange refunds of walker registration fees.
The committee would like to take this opportunity to thank all our walkers, helpers and charity associates for your interest and support and we hope to see you all again in 2021. ”
