Training to help you get back into work – Courses at Recovery College

Calderdale Recovery College have free courses and places available. Below is what’s coming up over the next month.

Do you know someone who is thinking about going back to work? Then this series of courses may just help:

Employment Tool Kit:

  • CV Writing – Friday 20th October 10.30-12
  • Your Rights at Work – Monday 30th October 10.30-12

Back by popular demand:

  • Mindfulness x 8 session – Wednesday 1st November 11-12.30
  • Achieving a state of peace x 1 session – Monday 30th November 10-3

All the above courses are taking place at Hope Street Resource Centre, Hope Street, Halifax, HX1 5DX.

Many of the courses may be able to support professional development and training needs.

Siddal Ex-Servicemens and Social Club Halloween Disco

Calderdale Lower Valley

Siddal Ex-Servicemens & Social Club, Siddal Lane HX3 9JS will be holding their annual Halloween Disco on Friday October 27 starting at 7pm.

Hot food will be available.
Fancy dress encouraged and there will be a competition for both best dressed adults and kids.
All children must be supervised at all times!

Siddal Ex-Servicemens & Social Club is run as a non-profit making organisation by its members through a committee usually elected annually.
